INSTALLATION
PROCEDURE
1. INSTALL DRIVING SUPPORT ECU ASSEMBLY
(a) Connect the connector.
(b) Engage the guide.
(c) Install the driving support ECU assembly with the nut.
Torque:
5.0 N·m {51 kgf·cm, 44 in·lbf}
NOTICE:
If the driving support ECU assembly has been struck or dropped, replace the driving support ECU assembly with a new one.
2. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or
registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and
installed, or replaced during driving support ECU assembly
removal/installation are shown below.

1. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the nut.

(b) Disengage the guide.
(c) Disconnect the connector to remove the driving support ECU assembly.
NOTICE:
Do not reuse the driving support ECU assembly if it has been dropped or subjected to a severe impact.
