Toyota Avalon (XX50): Internal Control Module Throttle Position Performance Internal Electronic Failure (P060E49). Internal Control Module EEPROM Data Memory Failure (P062F44). Fuel Pump Control Module Internal Electronic
Internal Control Module Throttle Position Performance Internal Electronic Failure (P060E49)
MONITOR DESCRIPTION
The ECM
monitors the signals received from the No. 1 throttle position sensor.
As the ECM monitors the VTA1 signal of the No. 1 throttle position
sensor, if these signals do not correlate, a DTC will be stored.

Read
Freeze Frame Data using the Techstream. The ECM records vehicle and
driving condition information as Freeze Frame Data the moment a DTC is
stored. When troubleshooting, Freeze Frame Data can help determine if
the vehicle was moving or stationary, if the engine was warmed up or
not, if the air fuel ratio was lean or rich, and other data from the
time the malfunction occurred.
PROCEDURE
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the power switch on (IG).

Fuel Pump Control Module Internal Electronic Failure (P064A49)
MONITOR DESCRIPTION
The
fuel pump control ECU has a self-diagnosis function. If there is an
internal malfunction, the fuel pump control ECU sends a malfunction
signal to the ECM via the FPC drive circuit.
Based on the signal, the ECM judges that there is a malfunction in the fuel pump control ECU stores a DTC.
